Given the current economic climate, everyone's looking for ways to cut costs and work smarter. And that means more organizations (including yours) may start scheduling teleconferences, videoconferences and webinars instead of in-person meetings. On paper, where the savings clearly add up, this makes plenty of sense, but is anybody calculating what is lost when we meet this way?
In March and April 2009, The Goodman Center invited public interest professionals from across the US and Canada to answer that question. More than 1,200 people completed their online survey - not a rigorously scientific sample, but enough to suggest that even if everyone dials the designated toll-free number and enters the correct access code, it doesn't mean they're truly connecting.
Participants can expect:
- The eye-opening results of this survey
- The findings' implications for your nonprofit
- A complimentary copy of the new report, "Dialing In, Logging On and Nodding Off: The True Costs of Teleconferences, Videoconferences and Webinars."
Take advantage of Andy Goodman's training, and find out why your organization may want to press the pause button before scheduling its next telemeeting.
