Customer Service Specialist, Nonprofit Services To continue growing our business, Network for Good is seeking an energetic and hard-working Customer Service Specialist to be part of a dynamic team of individuals dedicated to helping nonprofits raise funds and communicate with donors online. This individual will be responsible for responding daily to customer inquiries (via email and phone) on how to best use our services for online fundraising. The Customer Support Specialist will be trained on all of our services and take the lead in assisting customers with partner sites and our Basic Donate Now service which allows organizations to process donations from their website. This person will work with our marketing and support staff to respond to nonprofit and donor inquiries, help develop support material, and assist with special service-related projects. This position reports to our Operations Manager.
Job Responsibilities: - Provide superior customer support via email and telephone to nonprofit customers and donors
- Help create and upload template responses and FAQs
- Help troubleshoot and report technical issues
- Gather marketing intelligence related to customers and work with staff to improve training material and help guides
- Participate in customer support weekly calls
- Serve as the subject-matter specialist for inquiries related to marketing campaigns, Basic DonateNow and partner sites
- Assist with special projects that relate to customer service operations. Examples include: Assisting with payment exceptions, processing stale or returned checks and related operational needs
- Perform user acceptance testing on new development
Qualifications: - Minimum one-year experience in customer or client service
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Working knowledge of Windows based applications, including Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of the Internet and web-based applications
- Understanding of the fundraising and donor management process useful
- Knowledge of nonprofit or philanthropic sectors desirable
- Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and prompt resolution of issues
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
- Individual should be self-motivated and have good attention for detail, completing assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision

We are seeking an energetic and hard-working Operations and Customer Support Specialist. This individual will be responsible for serving the daily needs of coaching customers (via email and phone) on how to best use our services for online fundraising. The Operations & Customer Support Specialist will take the lead in assisting customers with our Basic Donate Now service, which allows organizations to process donations from their website and other partner sites. In addition, this person will develop support material, respond to nonprofit and donor inquiries, and help with grant disbursements and payment exceptions. Job Responsibilities: - Assist with monthly grant runs. Contact donors to resolve donation exceptions prior to payout. Perform basic financial reconciliation activities (e.g. verify deposits) prior to payout.
- Handle large volumes of check and EFT payment exceptions.
- Review and respond to credit card retrieval requests and chargebacks in a timely and accurate manner to minimize unnecessary losses.
- Provide day to day donation support. Assist donors and nonprofits with donation and grant issues using knowledge of our online giving system.
- Define and upload standard support responses to facilitate quick customer service turnaround in matters relating to donation processing and grant payments.
- Define and upload FAQs to provide self help to end users of our online giving system.
- Proactively identify enhancements to our online giving system and administrative applications to deliver a superior service to our end users.
- Help troubleshoot and report technical issues with in-house applications.
- Perform User Testing on new system development.
- Gather marketing intelligence related to customers and work with technical staff to improve training material and help guides.
Qualifications: - Minimum one-year experience in customer or client service.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows based applications, including Microsoft Office products.
- Working knowledge of the Internet and web-based applications
- Understanding of the fundraising and donor management process useful.
- Knowledge of nonprofit or philanthropic sectors desirable.
- Accounting/finance experience (e.g. prior experience handling credit card disputes, management of commercial bank accounts) highly desirable.
- Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and prompt resolution of issues.

Responsibilities: The Development Team Lead provides the leadership, talent and drive to help Network for Good develop and deliver world-class software applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Extending our core products and add new features
- Prototyping and developing new products and integrations
- Serving as team lead for developers. Candidate will provide technical leadership.
- Working with the Network for Good VP of Technology and product development teams to define new products, features and enhancements. The ideal candidate is someone who is a strong architect and visionary, but likes to be in the details of the implementation.
- Applying technology to solve business problems
- Experience working in an Agile software development environment
- Troubleshooting and configuring hardware
- Data modeling and DB architecture
- Interacting with and managing technical services vendors
Qualifications: - BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering or related field preferred. Equivalent experience is acceptable but strong CS fundaments are a requirement
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in design/architecture, web development
- Project-based experience in technical design, strategy/visioning and planning, development and deployment
- ASP.NET, C#, .NET Framework, VBScript, OO required. We are looking for someone who can develop using multiple different technologies and in multiple environments.
- Advanced MS SQL programming experience. Strong database design and programming skills in a SQL Server 2000/2005 environment
- Expert HTML, JavaScript, CSS skills; Experience using NHibernate, NUnit, and strong MVC experience
- Strong understanding of Information Architecture and content management/organization principles
- Strong knowledge of web site management technologies including web servers/hosting, internet protocols and standards (FTP, SFTP, XML, etc.), analytics, site search, email campaign management, and e-commerce

- Manage inbound & outbound leads and reports in our Salesforce.com CRM database. Use the CRM system to identify opportunities for cross-selling opportunities
- Demonstrate software on the phone, via web, and occasionally in person at local conferences.
- Network within the local nonprofit community.
- Assist with marketing materials and campaigns.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Experience selling or supporting ASP solutions required. Nonprofit sector experience a plus.
- Knowledge of the Internet and software application services, particularly e-commerce applications, preferably ASP software model.
