Sales Associate

Network for Good is an energetic, young online software company founded by AOL, Yahoo! and Cisco that aims to be known by every nonprofit in the United States (a.k.a. a $300 billion software market). And we're well on our way, with 45,000 nonprofits raising over $270 million online with Network for Good's SaaS (software as a service) fundraising tools. Hundreds more nonprofits join us every month, which is why if you are a sales superstar in the making looking for a job with unlimited financial upside and mobility, we'd love to chat.

We're out to find a smart, energetic person with 1-5 years experience to respond to sales inquiries as they come in, lead over-the-phone demos for prospective customers and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to close. As for skills, we're keen on finding someone who is well-rounded, enthusiastic, great with people and comfortable spending lots of time on the phone and in email. This person should be able to work independently, make short work of details and take on an unusually high level of responsibility at a fast-growing company. Experience using Salesforce.com is helpful but not required.

Beyond a passion for sales and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, candidates should possess:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Software sales and nonprofit sector experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Seeking an energetic, highly ambitious individual who is organized and has a good understanding of online software services (ASP).
  • Very comfortable making phone calls.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently..

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Experience selling or supporting ASP solutions required. Nonprofit sector experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Internet and software application services, particularly e-commerce applications, preferably ASP software model.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Seeking an energetic, highly ambitious individual who is organized and has a good understanding of online software services (ASP). Very comfortable making phone calls. Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Sales and Support Specialist

To continue growing our business, Network for Good is seeking an energetic and hard-working Sales & Support Specialist to be part of a dynamic team of individuals dedicated to helping nonprofits raise funds and communicate with donors online.  This individual will be responsible for responding daily to customer inquiries (via email and phone) on how to best use our services for online fundraising. Additionally the specialist will work with both our support and sales teams to process applications and service cancellation requests.  This position will also work closely with our Sales Director and Director of Nonprofit Marketing on improving sales and implementing win-back strategies.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer support via email and telephone to nonprofit customers and donors
  • Process sales applications
  • Collect and analyze sales and attrition data
  • Process service cancellation requests and collaborate with marketing staff on win-backs
  • Gather marketing intelligence related to customers and work with staff to improve training material and win-back strategies to keep customer attrition low.
  • Participate in weekly customer support & sales calls

 

This position may also include:

  • Assist with special support related projects (such as service migrations or user acceptance testing on new services). 
  • Manage lead conversion process
  • Help create and upload template responses and FAQs
  • Help troubleshoot and report technical issues
  • Assist with special projects that relate to customer service operations, such as assisting with payment exceptions, processing stale or returned checks and related operational needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one-year experience in customer or client service
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Experience with working with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Working knowledge of Windows based applications, including Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of the Internet and web-based applications
  • Understanding of the fundraising and donor management process useful
  • Knowledge of nonprofit or philanthropic sectors desirable
  • Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and prompt resolution of issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Individual should be self-motivated and have good attention for detail, completing assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
